Andrew is founder and managing partner of Havelock Wool. He has a passion for all things New Zealand, where the company procures its wool, that is mirrored by a desire to affect positive change in the built environment. He has lived and traveled around the world and seeks to leverage those experiences in bringing a biophilic, best practice to an industry known to contribute excessive waste to our world.
Andrew is a high-energy individual who is uncomfortable without entirely too much to do. Studies include University of Chicago Booth School of Business (MBA, Finance) and Hampden- Sydney College (BA, History).

Josh Schohn – Director of Sales
Josh Schohn is originally from Massachusetts. He joined Havelock Wool as the Director of Sales. After graduating from UMass Amherst in 1999, he immediately moved west to start enjoying the Lake Tahoe community and its many outdoor resources.
Josh’s extensive background in both the sales and service industries make him particularly well-suited as our Director of Sales. He’s eager to leverage his previous experiences in driving sales and customer relationships across each segment of our channel partners.
In his spare time, Josh recreates in the Reno/Tahoe area with his wife and 2 screaming children.

Peter Blanchard – Director of Finance
Peter is Director of Finance for Havelock Wool. After graduating from Duke University in 1999, Peter moved to San Francisco. Following an 8-year career in finance as a trader, Pete enrolled at the Presidio Graduate School where he earned his MBA in Sustainable Management in the Spring of 2012.
With this combination of finance and sustainability, Pete brings a unique skill set and network to the team.
Arlan Lilleioen – Production Manager
There is very little Arlan hasn’t experienced and even less that he’s not capable of sorting out. His skill set spans from flying to writing code. There aren’t many others who are comfortable when it comes to the intricacies of our 60 year old, repurposed, insulation production machinery. And lest we not forget he was a deputy sheriff too!
Hugo Martinez – Quality Control Manager
Hugo’s meticulous attention to detail and inherent interest in the relationship between operations, mathematics and statistics make him the ideal QC manager. We seek to manipulate our wool fibers as little as possible, all while delivering a consistent and effective product to the end-user. Hugo employs his skills and interests to every component of our production lines to ensure that this happens.
Ann V. Edminster, M. Arch., founder and managing principal of Design AVEnues LLC, is an expert environmental and net-zero energy design consultant, green building teacher, speaker, and author. She consults with homeowners, builders, developers, supply chain clients, design firms, investors, utilities, and public agencies.
Ann provides unmatched knowledge of sustainable and regenerative residential design and construction. She has 30 years of design experience and has guided project teams in the creation of hundreds of award-winning, high-performance homes.
Ann’s leadership and contributions include facilitating research and analysis that has shaped the LEED for Homes rating system. Her work has helped to create healthy, vibrant living spaces, protect the environment, and provide economic benefits.
Ann has held leadership positions on more than 25 boards and programs, including the USGBC’s LEED for Homes Committee, the USGBC’s Materials Resources Technical Advisory Group, PGE’s Zero Net Energy Program, the Earth Advantage Zero Program, and the Net Zero Energy Home Coalition.
Ian Hobbs is a co-owner, along with his brother Scott, of Hobbs Inc. A third-generation construction business based in New Canaan, CT, Hobbs Inc. has offices in Manhattan and Bridgehampton, Long Island.
Hobbs’ focus centers around the extreme, high-end residential market primarily in and around the New York Metropolitan Area. Nearly US$1bn of the company’s custom construction has been completed in this area over the firm’s 55 years.
The company has also accumulated numerous accolades, including Custom Builder of the Year (2005). They have very strong relationships across a wide variety of material suppliers and installers in the construction industry as well as close working relationships with hundreds of design professionals, consultants and engineers.
The firm is also well versed in green building techniques. Ian received his MBA from Columbia University and completed his undergraduate studies at Johns Hopkins University.
Jarrett B. Davis
Jarrett B. Davis AMB, CGP, CDT, LEED AP BD+C has been involved with evolving and facilitating the change of the built environment around the globe. He does this while maintaining the attitude required for high performance construction, design, and execution. You can find Jarrett frequently speaking to trade groups, architects and engineers, as well as lecturing to college classrooms on Building Sciences.
As the Director of Building Science, Jarrett often advises architects, contractors and owners on detailing, energy modeling, and performance of walls, roofs, and below grade assemblies. He is also involved in many organizations at the local, regional, and national level in implementation of building and energy codes to ensure the future of our built environment.
